The overlook parking lot was full of snow and absent of vehicles. A rare moment of complete silence in a place that overflows with visitors in the summer. The snowfall started to pick up, so I didn’t stay long. Not long after I left, an avalanche made the area temporarily inaccessible. But for a brief moment, it was just me, the lake, and the quiet snowfall.
